Hello, my beautiful sisters.
If you’re here today, it’s because your heart is heavy, and you’re carrying the weight of watching someone you love struggle with sickness. I see you. I hear you. I’ve been where you are. The sleepless nights, the constant worry, the ache in your chest when you don’t know what to do.
It’s overwhelming, isn’t it? You feel powerless, and that’s one of the hardest places to be.
Acknowledge and Empathize
It’s okay to admit that you’re scared.
Maybe you’ve been putting on a brave face because you feel like you have to be the strong one for everyone else. Maybe you’ve been praying, but it feels like your prayers are bouncing off the walls, unanswered. Or maybe you’re just so tired—tired of fighting, tired of hoping, tired of waiting.
I want you to know that you’re not alone. God sees your pain, and He sees your loved one’s suffering.
Explore Missteps and Misplaced Focus
When we’re faced with sickness, it’s natural to try and fix it ourselves.
We research endlessly, we ask for advice from everyone we know, we’re constantly checking on our loved ones, and maybe even neglecting our own needs in the process. It’s not wrong to care deeply or to try your best, but the truth is, we’re limited. And that’s why it can feel so frustrating and helpless at times.
When we rely solely on what we can do, we’re putting the weight of healing on human shoulders, instead of giving it to the One who created us all. God’s power is infinite, and He’s waiting for you to invite Him into this battle.
Bring God into the Solution
This is where faith comes in, my sister. God doesn’t ask you to have all the answers—He asks you to trust Him. He doesn’t expect you to heal your loved one; He asks you to lean on Him as the Great Healer.
Here’s what I want you to do: Take a moment today to surrender. Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and talk to God. Tell Him your fears, your doubts, your pain. Then, release it all to Him. Say, “God, I trust You to care for my loved one in ways I cannot. I trust Your timing and Your will.”
Remember, healing doesn’t always look the way we expect it to. Sometimes it’s physical, and sometimes it’s spiritual.
But no matter what, God is in control, and He’s working for good, even when we can’t see it.

Call to Uplifting Action
So today, let’s shift the focus. Instead of carrying the weight alone, give it to God. Instead of worrying, worship. Instead of fearing the worst, trust in His best. You are not powerless, because you serve a powerful God.
Take this moment to rest in Him, knowing that He is holding you and your loved one in His hands. And remember, He is with you every step of the way.
Stay strong, my sisters, and stay faithful. God’s got this.
