Hello, my beautiful sisters.
If you’re reading this, I know you’re feeling stuck.
Maybe you’ve been applying to job after job, and it feels like no one is even noticing you. Maybe you’ve poured hours into perfecting your resume, writing cover letters, and preparing for interviews, only to hear silence in return.
I’ve been there. That feeling of rejection, the frustration of waiting, the doubt creeping in—it can feel like a storm you can’t escape.
Acknowledge and Empathize
I want you to know that it’s okay to feel disappointed. It’s okay to feel tired of trying and tired of waiting. Searching for a job can be exhausting, especially when you’re doing everything you know how to do, and the doors still won’t open.
Maybe you’ve even started to question yourself: Am I not good enough? Am I doing something wrong? Is God even listening to me? If that’s you, know this—your worth is not tied to a job offer, and God has not forgotten you.
Explore Missteps and Misplaced Focus
When we’re searching for a job, it’s easy to focus on what’s right in front of us.
We measure our success by the number of applications we send out or how many interviews we land. We set our hearts on that one position we think will solve all our problems.
But sometimes, we’re so focused on the outcome that we forget to invite God into the process.
Maybe you’ve been trying to handle it all yourself, relying on your own strength and strategies. Maybe you’ve been consumed by worry, checking your email obsessively, or letting rejection chip away at your confidence.
But let me ask you this: Have you paused to ask God what He wants for you? Have you let Him lead the way?
Examine the Plans and the Solution
Sister, let me remind you: God’s plan for your life is bigger than any job title or paycheck. He knows where you’re supposed to be and when you’re supposed to be there.
Sometimes, the waiting is part of the preparation. Sometimes, the closed doors are protecting you from something that’s not meant for you.
Here’s what I want you to do: Take a moment today to surrender your job search to God. Pray and ask Him for clarity, for peace, and for His guidance. Say, “Lord, I trust You to place me where I need to be. I trust Your timing, even when it’s hard to understand.” Then, listen.
Be open to His nudges—maybe He’s leading you to a new field, a different path, or even a season of rest. Trust that His way is better than anything you could plan for yourself.

Call to Uplifting Action
Today, instead of stressing over what you can’t control, lean into what you can: your faith. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that God’s got you. He’s working behind the scenes, even when you can’t see it. Stay diligent, yes, but also stay prayerful.
Rest in the assurance that His plan for you is good—and that His timing is perfect.
So, my sister, keep your head up and your heart open.
The right door will open at the right time. And when it does, you’ll see that all this waiting wasn’t in vain—it was preparation for something greater than you could have imagined. Trust Him. He’s never failed, and He won’t start now.
